Tangerine Frozen Yogurt

Hot days call for a refreshing treat. Since  I had a few tangerines still lingering on my tree and I  have that new ice cream machine I made tangerine frozen yogurt. It's really doesn't get any easier than this.  You could use any fruit juice or puree you like.

Tangerine Frozen Yogurt

1 1/2 cup Tangerine juice
1 cup yogurt ( I used Greek)
1 cup  milk( I used non fat)
1/2 to 1 cup sugar - to taste

Mix all together . If needed add a splash of lemon juice to your fruit to perk up the flavor. With fruits that oxidize such as peaches use lemon to prevent color change.
Freeze in you ice cream machine according manufacturer's instructions.

Oh how refreshing. I love tangerines! If you don't mind my asking, what type of ice cream machine do you have? I'm in the market to get a new one and I'm all ears on suggestions. :)

I'm just a little jealous that you're talking about tangerine trees at your place, sigh, because I'm actually cold right now, but the frozen yogurt looks and sounds de-lish!

Il ne fait pas ici encore assez chaud pour cette recette mais on peut toujours la déguster malgré tout.
A bientôt.

I made this a while ago when it was still below freezing in many parts of the US! here in Texas, the weather was mildly cold! I love that dessert! My version was different but both versions are delicious! Wish i could do it in the summer too!

This looks yummy! I take it you have one of the newer machines that doesn't take ice/rock salt to freeze the ice cream? I'm wondering if it's worth getting one of those. Do you love it? Have you posted about it before? I'd love to know more about what machine you use and how easy it is to operate . . .
